Boaz agrees but before they go through with the marriage, Boaz tells Ruth that there is another relative that is closer than he and this man has the right to be her guardian redeemer before himself.

Boaz Shows Favor to Ruth
In this week's lesson, we will see that Boaz continues to show favor by blessing Ruth. Boaz invites Ruth to eat with his harvesters. He also gives instructions to his men to drop more grain on purpose in order that Ruth may pick up more grain. We see that after a day's work, Ruth picks up around thirty pounds of grain, a bushel. In addition, we see because Ruth understands that she was blessed, she blesses Naomi.
