The message that Jesus is teaching us is that despite sorrow, grief, temptation, hard aches , and difficult times, we are to seek our Heavenly Father in prayer so we can overcome through faith.

Jesus is teaching and celebrating the Last Supper on the eve of Passover with His disciples. He also let's His disciples know that they will all leave Him, meaning they will lack faith, when He gets arrested and will scatter. Peter doubts what Jesus is saying. However, Jesus tells him that before the night is over and before the rooster crows, he will deny Jesus three times.

The Religious leaders meet at the palace of Caiaphas, the Chief Priest, to discuss a way to secretly arrest Jesus. They agree to pay Judas thirty pieces of silver to betray Jesus. However, Jesus knows this because He knows all. At the Last Supper, Jesus reveals that Judas wi betray Him.

In this study, Jesus tells that we must be prepared for His coming. Jesus is speaking about the Rapture of the church. In this parable, we learn that five virgins were prepared. Those five, when the bridegroom came, went with him to the wedding feast because they were prepared. However, the five virgins that were foolish and unprepared were left behind.
