John 19:27-42

The Death of Jesus

In this week's lesson, we see that Jesus willingly gives His life up. We also see two religious leaders, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, both believe that Jesus was the Messiah, go to Pilate and ask for Jesus' body. They prepare Jesus' body with spices and wrap Him in linen. They put Jesus in the new tomb that belongs to Joseph of Arimathea.
