John 3:1-12 Jesus Teaches Nicodemus (Lesson 1) In this lesson, we see Nicodemus, known as "The Teacher,"a religious leader and a Pharisee, comes to Jesus at night to asks Yeshua some questions. Nicodemus, although a great teacher of the law, didn't understand what Jesus was talking about because he denied truth, the word of God. Nicodemus put more emphasis on his religion than the word of God.
